Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the CFO and senior business leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organisation’s goals.

• Provide detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to guide strategic decision-making across various lines of business.

• Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities, offering tailored financial advice and solutions.

• Drive the budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.

• Support the CFO in preparing presentations and reports for the executive team and board, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable information.

• Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, fostering a culture of financial accountability and transparency.

• Contribute to the development and execution of key projects that will shape the future direction of the organisation

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, or similar role, ideally within a large, complex organization.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial insights to business strategy.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Experience in a complex or highly regulated sector is a plus, but not essential; a passion for making an impact in a critical industry is key.

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

• CPA, CA, or equivalent financial qualification is preferred.
