We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a leading to join a leading infrastructure services business. This pivotal role is designed for a proactive Chartered Accountant who excels in financial reporting, consolidations, and enjoys working in a complex and dynamic environment.


Role Overview: The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial reporting processes and consolidation activities within the company. The role requires a combination of strong technical accounting skills and strategic financial management capabilities to support the organization's financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and data integrity across multiple business units.

  • Work collaboratively with finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and to uphold best practices across the organization.

  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

  • Oversee the adoption and utilization of financial systems to enhance reporting capabilities.

  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure all financial reporting meets the required regulatory and statutory compliance.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and consolidations.

  • Proven track record in a senior accounting role, ideally within the facility management, services, or related industries.

  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting frameworks.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel, capable of handling complex data sets.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage financial projects effectively.
