Bid Manager - Renewable Energy & Infrastructure

Our client, a major player in clean energy and large-scale infrastructure projects, is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead competitive bidding processes and secure key projects in Australia.

The Opportunity:As a Bid Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving successful bids for high-profile renewable energy and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing the entire bid process, from initial strategy through to submission and contract negotiation. This role requires someone with exceptional organizational skills, an understanding of the energy and infrastructure sectors, and a proven ability to deliver winning bids in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, commercial, and legal departments, to develop compelling bid proposals.

• Analyze tender requirements and create strategies to maximize the chances of winning bids.

• Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial documents, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners throughout the bidding process.

• Conduct post-bid reviews to continuously improve the bid process and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bid management within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.

• Strong understanding of the tendering process for large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented, with the ability to ensure all aspects of the bid meet technical and commercial requirements.
