This client is a significant contributor to the evolution of energy systems worldwide, spearheading extensive renewable energy initiatives and pioneering energy storage solutions. This role is perfect for a strategic leader with a strong engineering background, experienced in managing complex energy projects from renewable sources to energy infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that address the unique challenges and opportunities of transitioning to sustainable energy solutions globally.
Advanced Pipeline Oversight: Oversee a diverse portfolio of energy projects, maintaining a proactive pipeline that supports strategic initiatives in renewable energy and infrastructure development.
Operational Expertise: Apply a practical, hands-on approach to business development, with a willingness to engage directly on project sites, understanding the technical details and operational challenges firsthand.
Technical and Market Advocacy: Work closely with marketing and technical teams to solidify the company's reputation as a frontrunner in the energy sector, leveraging your expertise to enhance brand visibility and influence.
Candidate Profile:
Engineering to Business Development Pathway: Ideally started your career in engineering before transitioning to business development, with at least 10 years of experience in the energy industry.
Educational Credentials: Holds a tertiary qualification in engineering, business, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in both technical and commercial aspects.
Project Management and Execution: Demonstrated experience in overseeing the development, procurement, and maintenance of large-scale energy projects, with a focus on renewable sources and innovative energy solutions.
Networking and Relationship Building: Exceptionally networked within the energy sector, renowned for establishing durable, trust-based relationships and effectively communicating complex technical data to a variety of stakeholders.
