This essential role focuses on leading a robust team responsible for the precise preparation of project estimates and the strategic submission of tenders.     Responsibilities:

    • Direct and oversee a skilled team of estimators, managing the end-to-end tender process to ensure competitive and accurate project estimates.

    • Engage actively with external consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to drive project objectives to successful completion.

    • Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of project estimates to identify critical factors and costs, ensuring robust cost planning and financial accuracy.

    • Manage the compilation and presentation of tender cost information, facilitating seamless project transitions from tender to launch.

    • Monitor and evaluate team performance to maintain the highest standards of technical accuracy and efficiency in cost estimation and planning.

    • Adhere strictly to all relevant legislative and contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with building codes and commercial standards.


    Ideal Candidate:

    • Holds a tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, Project Management, or a related field.

    • Demonstrates extensive experience in an equivalent role within the infrastructure sector, with a successful track record in strategic bid management and project delivery.

    • Possesses strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to guide teams towards achieving business and project objectives.

    • Exhibits superior commercial acumen and excellent communication skills, crucial for negotiating and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
