Are you a driven payroll professional ready to oversee payroll for a large, nationwide team? We’re hiring on behalf of a growing organization seeking an experienced National Payroll Manager to lead and optimize payroll functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and streamlined processes.
About the Role:
As the National Payroll Manager, you’ll take charge of end-to-end payroll operations, transitioning payroll cycles, and providing guidance to a small team. This role is ideal for a payroll expert who is detail-oriented and highly skilled in payroll systems, compliance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full payroll cycle for 3000 employees, overseeing payroll processing, tax, superannuation, PAYG, and workers’ compensation.
Lead a dedicated payroll team, providing support, guidance, and ensuring accuracy across all payroll functions.
Implement and refine payroll processes to improve efficiency and maintain compliance with tax rules and regulations.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams on reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
Stay updated on payroll legislation changes, making necessary updates to ensure full compliance.
About You:
Extensive experience in payroll management, ideally with a large workforce.
Proficient in payroll systems such as Micropay, ADP, and Kronos, with a strong grasp of compliance requirements.
Proven ability to implement and streamline payroll processes.
Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong leadership abilities to support and guide a high-performing team.
