Are you a driven payroll professional ready to oversee payroll for a large, nationwide team? We’re hiring on behalf of a growing organization seeking an experienced National Payroll Manager to lead and optimize payroll functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and streamlined processes.


About the Role:

As the National Payroll Manager, you’ll take charge of end-to-end payroll operations, transitioning payroll cycles, and providing guidance to a small team. This role is ideal for a payroll expert who is detail-oriented and highly skilled in payroll systems, compliance, and process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full payroll cycle for 3000 employees, overseeing payroll processing, tax, superannuation, PAYG, and workers’ compensation.

  • Lead a dedicated payroll team, providing support, guidance, and ensuring accuracy across all payroll functions.

  • Implement and refine payroll processes to improve efficiency and maintain compliance with tax rules and regulations.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams on reporting, reconciliations, and audits.

  • Stay updated on payroll legislation changes, making necessary updates to ensure full compliance.


About You:

  • Extensive experience in payroll management, ideally with a large workforce.

  • Proficient in payroll systems such as Micropay, ADP, and Kronos, with a strong grasp of compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to implement and streamline payroll processes.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong leadership abilities to support and guide a high-performing team.
