Aequalis Consulting is recruiting a Senior Payroll Officer to join a leading organization with a focus on growth and innovation. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional looking to manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As the Senior Payroll Officer, you’ll take ownership of the payroll function, working closely with HR and finance teams to optimize processes and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Process payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis, including superannuation and tax calculations.
Resolve payroll queries and issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with award rates.
Prepare payroll reports and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
About You:
5+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in large organizations.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
